Front Desk/Office Assistant (Part-Time)

Position: Front Desk & Wellness Center Assistant
Location: Bodhi Salt Wellness Center, Louisville, KY
Compensation: $15/hr + Commission on Sales
Hours: Part-Time (flexible scheduling, includes some weekends)

Bodhi Salt is a luxury wellness center offering salt room therapy, cedar steam barrels, infrared sessions, red light therapy, yoga, massages, and thoughtfully curated wellness experiences. About the Role

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and organized person to support the daily operations of the center. This role includes greeting clients, guiding them through their sessions, preparing treatment rooms, maintaining cleanliness and laundry flow, and managing the front desk (calls, scheduling, point-of-sale, etc.). The ideal candidate enjoys creating a soothing, polished guest experience and takes pride in keeping a beautiful space running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with kindness and professionalism
• Check clients in/out using our system (Square Appointments)
• Answer phone calls, respond to messages, assist with scheduling questions
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment (salt rooms, red light booth, cedar steam barrels, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness and ambiance throughout the center
• Manage laundry flow (towels, robes, linens)
• Light retail assistance and sales guidance when appropriate
• Ensure guest comfort, safety, and a positive overall experience

Qualifications

• Friendly and caring personality; enjoys being of service to others
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to problem-solve calmly
• Comfortable learning how to operate spa/wellness equipment (training provided)
• Able to stay organized and keep the space neat
• Prior experience in hospitality, wellness, spa, boutique fitness, or customer service is helpful, but not required

Schedule

• Part-time position (10–20 hours/week to start)
• Some weekend availability preferred

Compensation

• $15/hour
• Plus commission on product and service sales
