Braille Readers Theater Presents The Doctor in Spite of Himself
Now in its 7th season, APH’s Braille Readers theater presents The Doctor in Spite of Himself. This classic work by the 17th century French playwright Molière still packs a comic punch, inviting comparisons to comic genius from the Marx Brothers to Saturday Night Live sketches. Molière has filled this fast and funny farce about the medical profession with witty comebacks, wordy misunderstandings, pranks, puns, and mischief; he is considered one of the great masters of comedy in western literature. Best for ages 10 and up.
